Veterans Golf Course sits in the heart of Quezon City, built in 1958 — one of the few full 18-hole rounds left in the city that's open to the public. It's short by modern standards, but the narrow fairways, small greens, and stands of Molave trees make it a genuinely testing, genuinely fun round.
The layout is mostly straight and unfussy — this isn't a course built on drama or elevation. Instead, the challenge tightens as you go: fairways narrow, Molave trees crowd both sides, and water hazards guard most of the par-5 greens, making "going for it in two" a real decision rather than an easy call.
Beyond the round, VGC is a full clubhouse — restaurant, coffee shop, function hall, meeting room, and tennis court are all on site.
Playing at just under 250 yards, the 7th is reachable off the tee — and that's exactly what makes it dangerous. It's the hole every regular at VGC has an opinion about.
